ABOUT ME

I began writing at a very young age, and in public school had won numerous public speaking contests and short story contests. Later in life I had the opportunity to write for a column in the Fort Lauderdale new paper speaking on the hardships of homelessness and ways to budget.

Now in this stage of my life, I have begun a new chapter and suffering from a very debilitating disease, I like to share my stories on my struggles, hope and fears of living with RSD/CRPS and all that goes with that. I have ventured to my love of writing to help myself and others with my wit and humor and have turned back to my writing abilities.

I live in a very small town in Southwestern Ontario, Canada with my husband, our 2 cats and dog. Our three children are grown, our youngest son has joined the Canadian Navy, and our youngest daughter has graced us with our first granddaughter. My life is both full of joy and pain. Writing allows me to focus more on the joy aspect of my life and less on the pain.

I am an RSD/CRPS survivor since 2008, and I will NOT go down without a fight! Educating and spreading awareness is our hope for a cure
